   Made an old painting look great again.
   We bought this to replace a large ornate frame around an oil landscape done by a local artist. The old frame was holding the painting back. This new one makes the art fit our home better and now it gets comments and compliments. This frame was easy to put together and the adjustable hangers make it easy line up with the studs in the wall that help support this large picture.

   Issue with pre drilled holes
   Putting the frame together was easy, but unfortunately, I didn’t realize it until afterwards that the pre-drilled holes were so close to edge that the screw doesn’t sit straight through the hole. I’m not sure if this is on purpose to screw the canvas at an angle or I received a defective product. I will contact seller and adjust my review accordingly.

   Good looking, best for smaller sizes
   This is a nice looking frame. However, there is a significant issue with most larger canvases. Canvases as large as 4’x4′ are almost guaranteed to have at the very least 1″ stretcher bars, putting the canvas surface beyond the protection of the frame and making the presentation look a bit strange. This isn’t really a problem with smaller canvases with thinner stretchers or rigid bases such as backed hardboard, but it’s something buyers should definitely be aware of. My item arrived with free of scrapes or dents.

   Assembly tough to visualize—but good value
   Instructions are minimal but once I figured it out conceptually, it was easy to assemble and worked great. Good value compared to what a premade frame of that size was going to cost. Think floating frame vs. traditional frame (your canvas sits in the frame) and that will help.

   Elevate your art
   After creating my own artwork, I wanted to make it look more professional. This frame is sleek and leaves a nice gap (floating) between the frame and the canvas. Perfect fit and very easy to put together. I’d buy it again.
